Where do I listen?

You can find episodes on Spotify, Soundcloud, iTunes, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, here on our website, or pretty much anywhere else you get podcasts.

When does your next episode come out?

Our episodes are released the first Monday of every month (excluding holidays), with some occasional exceptions - we’re all actively conducting research, attending classes, and more. We’ve also introduced a new “Young Scientist Spotlight Series,” to be released on the third Monday of each month (interspersed with our main episode releases).

Why are you called “Carry the one radio?”

Our name reflects our mission to make the scientific research establishment accessible to as many people as possible. It comes from a spoken word poem by George Watsky entitled Carry the One:

This equation can be solved

and as long as we are standing

we will carry the one who falls.

How do i get involved?

If you’re at UCSF, you’re welcome to come to our weekly meetings, 6:00 PM every Tuesday on Zoom - contact us for the link! If you can’t make our meetings, but want to get involved, contact us and we can work something out!

I’m not at UCSF - can I still get involved?

We can always use help gathering audio from locations beyond the Bay Area, picking up leads, or publicizing the work we do. If you’d like to get involved, drop us a line and we’ll be in touch.
