A recent publication speculates that head transplants are now possible. The author, Dr. Sergio Canavero asserts that patients such as quadriplegics are excellent candidates for such a surgery.

Head transplants are nothing new though. Dr. Robert White successfully performed one on a rhesus monkey in 1970. See the video below.
